Nero Lens Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Nero Lens by Nero AG ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nero Lens application, website, and related AI photo/video enhancement services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing, installing, or using Nero Lens, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Nero Lens.

2. Description of Nero Lens & Integrated Services

Nero Lens provides AI-driven photo enhancement, image restoration, upscaling, background removal, and media transformation services. To enable account login, payment authorization, analytics, push notifications, advertisements, and content sharing, Nero Lens integrates third-party tools, web controls, and developer SDKs:

• Third-Party Single Sign-On (SSO) & Login Controls: We support authentication web controls provided by Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and PayPal. These services are used solely to authenticate your identity, process secure login sessions, or verify purchases. Nero Lens only receives necessary account identifiers (such as User ID or verified email) to manage your user profile and active subscription.
• Share Kit / Social Sharing Integration: Nero Lens integrates sharing tools (including TikTok Share Kit and platform native share sheets) allowing you to export and share your processed photos/videos directly to connected social platforms. Content is shared strictly upon your explicit manual action. Nero Lens never posts automatically on your behalf.
• Subscription and In-App Purchase Management: Subscription transactions, receipt validation, and access entitlements in Nero Lens are managed via RevenueCat and platform app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play Store).
• Advertising & Push Notifications: We use Google AdMob for serving in-app advertisements and JPush (Aurora Push) for delivering important system updates and operational notifications to your device.

3. User Account & Subscriptions

To access certain premium features, batch processing, or higher-resolution AI exports in Nero Lens, you may register an account or purchase a subscription/credit pack. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Content Ownership and License

• Your Original Content: You retain full ownership of all photos, images, and videos you upload to Nero Lens. By uploading media, you grant Nero Lens a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to process and enhance your content as instructed by you.
• Processed AI Outputs: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and local laws, media processed or generated by Nero Lens is available for your personal and commercial use.

5. Restrictions on Use

When using Nero Lens, you agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes third-party copyright, privacy, or trademark rights.
• Upload illegal, abusive, defamatory, or explicit adult material.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract AI algorithm weights or binaries from Nero Lens.
• Use unauthorized automated systems or scrapers to access Nero Lens services.

6. Limitation of Liability

Nero Lens is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Nero AG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Nero Lens.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Nero Lens following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
